Justice AK Ganguly should have resigned by now : Forward Bloc

KOLKATA: Minutes after retired Justice AK Ganguly complained to the Chief Justice of India on Monday saying he has not been addressed correctly by the apex court in the law intern case, Forward Bloc general secretary Debabrata Biswas said he should have resigned by now.

"We feel that Justice Ganguly should have resigned and fought his battle. He should have resigned by now," said Biswas.

Denying that he has ever harassed or made any unwelcome advances to any intern, the former Supreme Court judge in his complaint said he has not been addressed correctly by the apex court.

"I have been distressed by some recent happenings. I am anguished that the Supreme Court under your Lordship did not address me correctly," Ganguly said in his eight-page-long letter to P Sathasivam, which he said is also being forwarded to President Pranab Mukherjee.
