Judges asked to ensure timely updation of orders on website
Judicial officers of Tis Hazari courts here have been asked to ensure timely updation of daily orders, cause lists and judgements on the official website.

A recent circular issued by District Judge A K Chawla says it has been noticed that the cause lists, daily orders and judgements are not being updated regularly by the staff posted at Tis Hazari courts and the judicial officers should ensure that the data is updated regularly on the server.
"Repeated directions have been issued in this regard, but the information gathered from the server shows that the concerned staff is still not uploading the requisite data timely and regularly," it said.
The circular also said, "It is impressed upon all the judicial officers that its their prime responsibility to ensure that the cause lists, daily orders and judgements of their court are timely sent on the server by the staff posted in their court on daily basis.
"It is directed that the cause lists be sent at least three days in advance, daily orders be sent on daily basis and judgements be uploaded within 48 hours of pronouncement. There will be zero tolerance in respect of delay/negligence in updation of data on server."
Recently, a PIL was also filed before the Delhi High Court seeking directions for proper management of official websites of the six district courts here and updation of information of daily orders, cause lists and judges on leave.
The petition, which is pending disposal, said that "daily orders of many courts here are not uploaded on the official websites regularly thereby causing immense hardship to the counsel as well as the parties concerned".
