JPCC's new disciplinary committee set up

AICC President Sonia Gandhi has approved a seven-member disciplinary committee recommended by the Jharkhand PCC.

RANCHI: AICC President Sonia Gandhi has approved a seven-member disciplinary committee recommended by the Jharkhand PCC.

Headed by party's former MP Tilakdhari Singh, the committee comprised HRD Minister Geetashree Oraon, Sarfaraj Ahmed, Krishnanand Jha, Radhakrishna Kishore, Harinarayan Prasad and Ashok Choudhary, JPCC spokesman Sailesh Sinha said in a release here today.

He said PCC president Sukdhdeo Bhagat recently recommended the names to the Congress high command for approval and it received clearance yesterday.

The Congress is supporting the JMM-led UPA government Jharkhand.
