West Bengal: BJP to crowdsource poll manifesto; JP Nadda to launch campaign
Nadda will reach West Bengal on Wednesday night and launch the "Lokkho Sonar Bangla Manifesto Crowdsourcing" programme on Thursday morning, Baluni said, referring to the party's poll promise of rebuilding the state as "Sonar Bangla".

Party President JP Nadda will launch the campaign, named Lokkho Sonar Bangla (Aiming for a Golden Bengal), in Kolkata that aims to get two crore suggestions from the voters. The LED raths, one for each of the 294 Assembly seats, will have a suggestion box, along with a mobile or tablet, for the manifesto. Nadda will flag off the LED raths on Thursday.
Apart from this, 30,000 suggestion boxes will be placed across the state for this purpose. Each constituency will have around 100 such boxes to make them accessible to the people. A missed call service (no 9727294294) will also be started and people can record their views on this number. They can also send their ideas on WhatsApp or through SMS on this number.
BJP has also created a website (www.lokkhosonarbangla.com) for inviting proposals for the election manifesto. Suggestions can also be emailed to aspirations@lokkhosonarbangla.com by the people. The saffron party will also hold meetings with representatives from various communities to hear to their recommendations and incorporate them in the manifesto.
