Journalists create flutter at ISRO chief's press meet

SRIHARIKOTA: A section of journalists today created a flutter here when they shouted slogans and displayed placards against creation of Telangana, at the press conference of ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan.

The journalists carried small banners saying "Don't divide AP," in an apparent opposition to the formation of a separate Telangana state from Andhra Pradesh.

Radhakrishnan was present when the incident happened. He had arrived to address the media following the launch of India's Mars mission at the spaceport here.

Around 15 slogan-shouting journalists later left the venue.
