JKLF head slams BJP, RSS
SRINAGAR: JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik today slammed both BJP and RSS for their stand on the meeting between Ved Pratap Vaidik and Hafiz Saeed, saying the two parties had created a "war-like situation" when the latter met him during a hunger strike in Pakistan.

"It is BJP and RSS which created a war-like situation when Saeed came to a hunger strike camp I was holding against the hanging of (Parliament attack convict) Afzal Guru.

"Today, when their own man (Vaidik) is meeting the same person they are behaving like doves," Malik told a rally in Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.

"When in power, BJP and RSS started dialogue with Pakistan, Hizbul Mujahideen, Hurriyat and others but when they were out of power, they opposed and stopped every kind of such process," he said.

"We are not against such meetings and engagements, but the fact is that BJP and RSS have this habit of changing colours in power and opposition."
