JK govt debars 14 companies from tendering in PMGSY

Jammu and Kashmir government today said 14 major companies have been debarred from further tendering in Prime Minister Gramin Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) in Jammu region as these did not fulfil requisite conditions.

Jammu and Kashmir government today said 14 major companies have been debarred from further tendering in Prime Minister Gramin Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) in Jammu region as these did not fulfil requisite conditions.

Giving this information in the state Legislative Council, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Ali Mohammad Sagar said these companies would not be allowed to participate in the tendering process till their ongoing commitments in PMGSY were over.

He said that for completion of these projects, the department was vigorously pursuing with the executing agencies for early completion of the work and was trying to remove hurdles in implementation of land, forest and court orders.
