J&K governor rule: NN Vohra to visit to State Secretariat tomorrow

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra, who today took over as the reigns following imposition of Governor's rule, will be visiting Government Secretariat tomorrow for a high level meeting with top officials to discuss major issues confronting the state.

The Governor shall be visiting the State Government Secretariat tomorrow for meeting with all the administrative secretaries and discussions with DG Police, Principal Secretaries - Planning and Finance Departments, Raj Bhawan official spokesman said.

After imposition of Governor's rule, State Chief Secretary Iqbal Khanday today called on Vohra at the Raj Bhawan.

Khanday apprised the Governor about the major issues in the administrative arena consequent to the resignation of Council of Ministers.

The Governor discussed several matters with the Chief Secretary, particularly the status of flood relief measures and the steps taken for providing relief to the victims of ceasefire violations across the International Border.
