NEW DELHI: Union Minister Jitendra Singh, a prominent BJP face from Jammu region, today parried questions on government formation in Jammu and Kashmir where his party is in deliberations with others to form the government.

"It is beyond the purview of my ministry's domain. It is not my prerogative," said Singh to questions on government formation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and also in the Prime Minister's Office, was addressing a press conference to highlight achievement of his ministry.

"It is not my prerogative," was the standard reply given by Singh when asked whether today's press meet was going to be his last press conference as Union Minister.
