Jharkhand Vikas Morcha hints it is not averse to talks with AAP
RANCHI: The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) today hinted that it was not averse to talks with the Aam Aadmi Party for an alliance in the state for next year's Lok Sabha elections.

"There was to be a dialogue on December 24 (with the AAP leadership), but they were busy with government formation," JVM president Babulal Marandi told PTI here.

Asked whether the JVM was making any effort for a political alignment with AAP in Jharkhand, he replied "We have not yet decided anything on that."

He said that party MP Ajay Kumar told him that he had spoken to them earlier.

Marandi last month talked to Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar on 'exchange of interests' in the two states ahead of the Lok Sabha polls and declared that his party was not averse to talks with non-BJP and non-Congress parties.

The JVM put up an impressive show in the 2009 assembly elections bagging 11 seats. Marandi had not contested the polls as he preferred to remain in the Lok Sabha.
