Jharkhand government executed 1600 transfers in 180 days: Congress
JAMSHEDPUR: Accusing the BJP governments at Centre and Jharkhand of patronising the corrupt, Jharkhand Congress today claimed that the Raghuvar Das-headed government in the state had executed 1600 transfers in 180 days.

Addressing a press conference at Congress Bhawan here, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee ( JPCC) President Sukhdeo Bhagat alleged the transfers were done whimsically and not on merit or genuine cause, which led to disorder in the law and order situation in the state.

He said a union minister in the Narendra Modi cabinet had admitted the six-month performance of the present government was a failure on all fronts, he said.

Expressing surprise over the prime minister's silence over the back to back deaths in connection with Vyapam scam in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh, he said the union government was also patronising the corrupt.

He further said the approach of the Union and Jharkhand governments was to benefit industrialists and corporate houses rather than addressing the problems of the common man.
