"I hate corruption. So, I appeal to all of you that no complaint should come. We want Jharkhand free from corruption," Das said after handing over appointment letters to assistant/junior engineers and to others.
"We have begun the recruitment process as the government has set a target to provide electricity 24x7 to all households in the state by 2019," he said and exhorted the newly recruited personnel to work proactively.
The appointment letters were given after announcement of results of 497 out of a total 599 in the first phase, JUVNL Chairman-cum-Director S K G Rahate said at the function organised to distribute the appointment letters to the successful candidates here.
The recruitment was for four power corporations; Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (JUVNL development), Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (distribution), Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam Limited (transmission) and Jharkhand Urja Utpadan Nigam Limited (production), a senior official of JUVNL said.
