Jharkhand CM Raghuvar Das gifts Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana to 8000 women

JAMSHEDPUR: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das today gifted 'Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana' (PMSMY) bnefits to 8000 women to mark the Raksha Bandhan festival here.

"The premium of the accidental insurance of Rs.12/- will be paid from my account, Das announced before the gathering at function organized under his Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency.

Das said he has appealed all NDA MLAs to provide the PMSMY today as Rakhi gift to their sisters in their respective constituency.

Regretting that the facility of Life Insurance cover by those, who were capable to afford it since Independence, Das said poor and suppressed class of the society continued to remain deprived of the facility till Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched three schemes.
