Jharkhand BJP leaders hail party's showing

JAMSHEDPUR: The impressive showing in assembly elections in the four states-Chattisgarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan clearly indicated that the people have responded positively to Narendra Modi's repeated appeal to usher in a "Congress-free government in the country",Former Jharkhand Deputy Chief Minister Raghuvar Das said.

The four-time BJP MLA from Jamshedpur East segment, told PTI a Modi wave was clearly sweeping across the country and the people wanted him to see as Prime Minister.

Besides Das, a former state BJP chief, another former BJP President of Jharkhand, Dineshanand Goswami said the outcome of the assembly polls proved that the corrupt-Congress regime has come to an end in the country.

"We are very much confident that BJP would improve its performance further in the 2014 parliamentary poll and form a majority government headed by Modi," Goswami said.
