Jharkhand bandh will be observed in totality: CPI
The bandh called by the opposition parties including CPI in protest against the Land Acquisition bill will be observed in totality in Jharkhand.

"We will bring the road, rail and even air traffic to a standstill on Monday to oppose the anti-farmer bill, said Bhubaneswar Mehta, a member of the National Executive Committee of CPI.
Mehta told a press conference that Jharkhand will be mostly affected it was implemented owning to its 40 per cent mineral deposits of the country.
Stating they enjoyed the support of over a dozen political parties such as JVM, Jharkhand People's Party, JD(U), RJD, CPM, SP and as many social and anti-displaced organization, Mehta said they will oppose the Land Acquisition bill tooth and nail and block the road, rail and air traffic to mount pressure on the union Government to withdraw the "black law" as it was an anti-farmer Bill.
