Jhakhand Assembly election: Fractured Mandate on cards

RANCHI: Jharkhand appears to be heading for a hung Assembly again. UPA appears to have made significant gains but is still miles away from a majority. Accordingly, Soren's JMM likely to hold key to government formation.

BJP appears to be losing ground and its parliamentary board is meeting in the evening. Geeta Koda, wife of tainted former CM Madhu Koda, has won from Jagannathpur.

NDA has won two seats while Congress, JMM and Others have won one seat each as per the tally available till 11 am.

Trends showed NDA ahead in 20 seats while Congress was leading in 26 segments. JMM and Others were ahead in 14 and 13 seats, respectively. RJD was ahead in eight seats.
