NEW DELHI: Jet Airways on Wednesday said that both of its cabin crew members who were injured in blasts at Brussels airport are safe in hospital and the airline is flying their families to Belgium’s capital city.

In-flight manager Nidhi Chaphekar and flight purser Amit Motwani were rushed to hospital a day earlier after they were injured in the blasts. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted that the Jet Airways employees are recovering well and that the government is coordinating with the airline on alternate plans to evacuate Indian citizens.

The local authorities have accommodated the airline’s passengers at four locations in the city. The airline said it has positioned its staff in all these locations to support the guests and coordinate with local authorities. Jet Airways has also decided to take the stranded passengers to Amsterdam by buses from where they will continue their onward journeys to Delhi, Mumbai and Toronto.
