Jessica murder case: SC refuses bail to Manu Sharma
The Supreme Court has refused to grant bail to Manu Sharma, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Jessica Lall murder case.

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Monday refused to grant bail to Manu Sharma, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Jessica Lall murder case.
"No case for suspension of sentence and grant of bail is made out," a Bench headed by Justice C K Thakker said, while dismissing Sharma's petition.
The court said the appeal against the conviction is already admitted and likely to be heard within a reasonable time.
Manu was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by the Delhi High Court which had set aside the trial court verdict acquitting him in the case.
Model Jessica Lall was shot dead here on the intervening night of April 29-30, 1999 at the Qutub Colonade restaurant owned by socialite Bina Ramani.
