JD(U) tells Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi to focus on work, stay away from controversies
“Our national party President Sharadji has cautioned the chief minister from making any controversial statement, " KC Tyagi said.

In what is seen as the first official warning for the Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, the ruling JD (U) has now asked him to concentrate on governance instead of issuing statements which have often courted controversies for him as well as the party.
“Our national party President Sharadji has cautioned the chief minister from making any controversial statement. Manjhiji is the party's face in the government and he should work and concentrate on governance. Some of the statements he made recently had certainly caused a deep sense of unease among a section of party leaders and workers,“ the JD(U) national spokesperson KC Tyagi said.
“I think the chief minister will now abide by the advice of the party which has given a position of honour and prestige to him,“ he said.
