JD(U) leader says Bihar seat decision in a few days
Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar met BJP president Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi on Wednesday and discussed the seat-sharing arrangement for Bihar for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

JDU national spokesperson KC Tyagi confirmed the meeting between Nitish and Shah. He added the meeting ended on a positive note.
Both sides, BJP and JDU, said announcement on seat sharing will be made in a few days. CM Nitish stayed at Shah’s residence for more than half an hour.
Although JDU sources remain tight-lipped about the party’s share of seats, they claimed that JDU will get respectable number of seats under any arrangement. Earlier, BJP leader Bhupendra Yadav, who is in-charge of BJP’s Bihar unit, and JDU leader R C P Singh held several rounds of talks in order to give final shape to the seat-sharing arrangement.
In Bihar, NDA comprises JDU, BJP, Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan-headed LJP and Union minister Upendra Kushwaha-headed RLSP. Nitish Kumar-headed JDU returned to the NDA in July 2017.
While BJP has 22 MPs in the state, LJP and RLSP had won 6 and 3 seats, respectively, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
