JAMSHEDPUR: A three-day Jharkhand bandh call given by Jharkhand Disom Party (JDP) from June 7 to 9 in protest against the Delimitation Commission's proposal to reduce the number of ST seats in the assembly and parliament in the state have been withdrawn, party sources said on Wednesday.

A decision to withdraw the bandh call was taken at a meeting of JDP here last evening, Sonaram Soren, vice-president of JDP's centrow after it failed to garner adequate support of other tribal organisations on the issue.
