Jayalalithaa is doing fine, says Apollo hospitals
NEW DELHI: Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa is responding well to the treatment and will be in the hospital for a few more days for recuperation, said a statement released by Apollo Hospitals on Thursday night.

The Chief minister's medical evaluation tests are going on, the statement said

Responding to speculations about her health, the AIADMK party channel, Jaya TV said Tamil Nadu chief minister was "fine and will return home soon."

"The CM is recuperating in the hospital based on doctors' advice. Rumour mongers have been warned by the police that they are being monitored and stern action will be taken against them," a scroll on the channel said.

Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road in Chennai with complaints of fever and dehydration a few days ago.

Medical bulletins released last week said she was responding well to treatment and was on a normal diet.
