Jaya, Big B have assets of Rs 227 cr
Amitabh owns properties worth Rs 190 crore and Jaya has Rs 37 crore invested in movable and immovable properties.

LUCKNOW: Film actress and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Jaya Bachhan, who has filed her nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha bye-elections from the state, and her filmstar husband Amitabh Bachhan own Rs 227 crore in movable and immovable properties.
While Amitabh owned properties worth Rs 190 crore, Jaya had Rs 37 crore in movable and immovable properties, according to an affidavit filed by her along with the nomination papers.
Jaya owned two cars and her husband 11, including some of foreign make like Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes Benz and BMW. There were Rs 11.41 lakh cash in Jaya's bank account while Amitabh had Rs. 3.27 lakh in the bank, her affidavit stated.
She had an investment of Rs 3.09 crore in shares and Rs 3.67 crore in jewellary while her husband had invested Rs 134 crore and owned jewellery worth Rs 2.91 crore.
Jaya owns 364 kg of silverware and diamonds and pearls worth Rs 3.22 crore besides owning a plot in Noida Film City, a flat in Bhopal and Mumbai and a house in Mumbai.
As per the affidavit, Amitabh has been shown to be the owner of agricultural land in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district, a house worth Rs 4.5 crore and a plot of Rs 12 crore in Mumbai, a Rs 35 lakh flat in Gurgaon and immovable properties worth Rs 67 lakh in Delhi.
