Jaswant Singh's revolt was unfair: Om Mathur
JAIPUR: BJP leader Om Mathur today said that Jaswant Singh's revolt on denial of a ticket was unfair and he should have avoided contesting the Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate.

"Revolt by senior leader like Jaswant Singh on denial of a ticket was unfair.

"There may be reasons for not giving him ticket. He should have avoided taking such step," Mathur told reporters.

Mathur, however, did not clear the air on whether Singh's suspension may be revoked.

Mathur, party's Gujarat in-charge, said that Singh's meeting with senior party leaders was his personal matter and it is the party high-command which decides who will be in the party and who will not.

Singh had met with senior party leader L K Advani yesterday.
