Jaswant Singh rejoins BJP

NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha MP and former external affairs minister Jaswant Singh on Thursday rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) in the presence of senior leaders like LK Advani and Nitin Gadkari.

Party president Nitin Gadkari said what happened with Jaswant Singh in the past is forgotten.

Jaswant Singh's reinduction into the party fold comes 10 months after he was expelled from the BJP over his book on Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah in August last year.

Jaswant Singh represents Darjeeling in West Bengal in the Lok Sabha.
