Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil on Friday claimed that former Maharashtra minister Dhananjay Munde had planned to kill him and had given a 'supari' of ₹2.5 crore for the same. "Dhananjay Munde initially wanted to defame me with false recordings however they could not do it so then they planned to eliminate me either by giving me some medicines or by running me down in a vehicle. There were 15 to 18 people who were involved in this... We have complained to the police and two people have been arrested in the case. A person called Kanchan who is either Munde's PA or someone very close to him had taken these two people to meet Munde at the Parli guest house,"said Jarange Patil.

Munde, however, claimed that he was being implicated in the case and that he had nothing to do with it.
