Jan Lokpal Bill: Drunk men create ruckus at Ramlila Maidan

NEW DELHI: Over two dozen "drunk" men created a ruckus at the Ramlila Maidan where Anna Hazare is sitting on an indefinite fast in the wee hours on Sunday night.

The trouble started at around 12.30 am when one person came to the Maidan and started hurling abuse at the media and volunteers present on the ground. However, he was taken out of the ground by the police.

The trouble escalated 90 minutes later when around 30 persons, who were under the influence of alcohol, assembled inside the ground and went on picking up quarrel with protesters and media persons.

They also tried to enter the media enclosure hurling abuse and threat to the journalists covering the event.

Police formed a cordon to prevent them from attacking the media persons.
