Jan Lokpal Bill: Anna Hazare supporters continue agitation in Bihar

PATNA: Activists of Bihar unit of ' India Against Corruption' (IAC), citizen body fighting for a strong Lokpal, contined their agitation for the eighth day today with a group of Anna supporters visting RJD office to muster support.

IAC activists held fast, staged sit-ins, took out processions and carried out signature campaigns in solidarity with the dharna and fast by activist Anna Hazare at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.

State IAC convenor Sanjay Dutta said its mass contact programme to get popular support for Hazare's movement also continued.

Heated exchange took place between IAC activists and RJD members at the party office where the latter had gone to seek support for Jan Lokpal forcing them to return.

"IAC activists are visiting every village and town in the state as part of the wider campaign to express solidarity with Hazare's movement against corruption," he added.
