Jammu hit by protests over mysterious video
JAMMU: A day after surfacing of a mysterious video purportedly showing a person carrying the severed head of Indian soldier Hemraj who was beheaded by Pakistan Army regulars last year, BJP workers and students today took out protest march here.

Scores of BJP activists held a demonstration in Talab Tilloo area of the city and demanded action against Pakistan.

Hundreds of college students also held protest and demanded "befitting reply" to Pakistan.

"We demand action against Pakistan not talks," a student leader said.

After the first anniversary of beheading of two army jawans on Poonch LoC on January 8, a video mysteriously emerged yesterday on social media and TV channels purportedly showing a person carrying head with suggestions that it was that of Lance Naik Hemraj, who was beheaded by Pakistan Army regulars.

In the video, a person, who according to media reports is a terrorist, is allegedly parading the head of Lance Naik Hemraj on Pakistani soil along with his other belongings including torch batteries and low denomination Indian currency.
