Jammu gets mobile application for election updates

JAMMU: As the state of Jammu and Kashmir prepares for the assembly elections, the android phone users in Jammu region can now avail of the latest election news updates on their mobile devices.

' Jammu Links' mobile application launched by a Jammu-based company today plans to give updates on technology, sports, entrance exams, movies in the city and exciting deals, besides updating the android users with the latest news from the state and the country.

"This app will keep people in touch with all the latest happenings of the state, country and the world as well. The app is equipped to give updates regarding technology, sports, latest entrance exams, movie timings in the city, exciting deals and lots more," Gaurav Sharma, Director, In Links Communications Pvt. Limited said.

He said that the users can also surf for all kinds of recipes, daily horoscope and elections related news with the app, adding that one can SMS JLN to 56060 to download the application.

"Technology plays a vital role in present era, applications like these are very important as they keep the public at large updated with the happenings around the world on their smart phones and tablets," said Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu, while launching the app.
