Jammu and Kashmir people should not fall into trap of divisive forces: CPI(M)
JAMMU: Newly-elected CPI(M) MLA in Jammu and Kashmir, M Y Tarigami today cautioned the people of the state against falling into the "trap of divisive forces."

"The secular ethos is the binding force for the unity of our state. We must unite to safeguard the plurality of the state and fight the divisive forces that are hell-bent on dividing our state," Tarigami said, while addressing party activists here today.

Tarigami, who retained the Kulgam assembly seat for the fourth consecutive time in the state Assembly elections, appealed to the people to fight against the divisive forces that he said were bound to create problems in the state.

CPI (M) Regional Secretary, Sham Parsad Kesar said Tarigami has relentlessly fought for the cause of working people in the state and inside the Assembly has agitated for the downtrodden, farmers, workers like ASHA among others.

Kesar added that people of the state have great expectations from him.
