Jammu and Kashmir government launches 'Aapka School Aapke Gaon' scheme for students along IB
JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir government has introduced a scheme for the students living along the International Border, with an aim to make up for the academic losses suffered by them due to Pakistani firing.

' Aapka School Aapke Gaon', which was launched yesterday under Border Areas Development Program, would help facilitate the studies of the students affected due to border firing and would provide additional classes to cope up with the academic losses, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu said.

It would benefit the students of the villages situated within the range of five kilometer of the International Border and Line of Control.

Under the scheme, the district administration would identify suitable place in every border village for accommodating students and would also ensure arrangements for lighting and seating for them.
