Jammu and Kashmir cabinet reshuffle on April 30: Nirmal Singh
The reshuffle comes within a fortnight of the ruling partner BJP asking all its ministers in the state govt to resign soon after two party ministers resigned over the Kathua rape and murder case.

BJP national president Amit Shah, in consultation with party’s national general secretary Ram Madhav, is said to have prepared a list of new cabinet ministers and deputy chief minister of J&K Nirmal Singh was called to New Delhi to give final shape to the decision.
“You may see four to five new faces in the cabinet, which will be made public on Monday. Deputy CM is in New Delhi and we will get to know about the final list today evening or tomorrow morning,” BJP state general secretary Ashok Koul told ET on Sunday.
J&K governor NN Vohra will administer oath to the new ministers at noon at Jammu Convention Center.
The reshuffle in the BJP became imminent after its two ministers — Choudhary Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga — were asked to resign in wake of their participation in a rally in Hiranagar, organised in support of the accused in the rape and murder case of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua.
