Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh operative sent to 14 days police custody

NIA had declared a Rs 5 lakh reward for information on Sahanur alias Illias, popularly known as Doctor.



GUWAHATI: Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh ( JMB) key operative Sahanur Alam, one of the prime accused in Burdwan blast case, who was arrested by NIA and the Assam police team, in the wee hours of Friday, was sent to 14 days police custody by a court in Kamrup in Assam.

NIA had declared a Rs 5 lakh reward for information on Sahanur alias Illias, popularly known as Doctor. He has been absconding since October and was picked up from Lalkurchi village, under Mukalmua Police Station in Nalbari.
