'Jaish toilet letter' talks of plot to target PM Narendra Modi's rally
Penned in Hindi, the letter begins with Paigam from “Jaish-e-Mohammad” and talks about carrying out a blast during a public meeting of PM Modi.

“Everyone would have understood what was told in the meeting and each one of you would get a message on the phone at 11 am on February 27, 2019 that your demand would be met. But for that work would have to be done which you all are aware of,” says the letter, a copy of which was seen by ET.
Penned in Hindi, the letter begins with “Paigam (message) from “Jaish-e-Mohammad” and talks about carrying out a blast during a public meeting of PM Modi. “A 10-foot long pole has been split to stuff 2 kg RDX. That would be used in a stage at a meeting to be addressed by PM Modi. That you can do by becoming labour or contractor,” it says.
Senior superintendent of police, Ananta Deo, said the letter was kept in a plastic bag in the toilet of last but one bogey of the train in which a low intensity blast took place on Wednesday and that it appeared to be “an act of mischief”.
