It is not moral policing, Maharashtra FM Sudhir Mungantiwar on hotel "raids"
Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar today said there is no "moral policing" and police must be encouraged for "good things".

"It has become a fashion to use the word moral policing. There is no moral policing in the country.
"We think differently for daughters and family members ...it is our duty to encourage good things," the Minister said.
Asked whether the raids were wrong, Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Deven Bharti said he will wait for the report before commenting on the issue.
"We have ordered an inquiry and will be deciding after the report is received," Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Deven Bharti told PTI.
