The Indian Space Research Organisation has pressed into service an aircraft with aerial remote sensing capability to help trace Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

BANGALORE: The Indian Space Research Organisation has pressed into service an aircraft with aerial remote sensing capability to help trace Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

The effort is being carried out in coordination with Andhra Pradesh Government, ISRO Spokesperson S Satish told media.

The aircraft belongs to ISRO's National Remote Sensing Centre based in Hyderabad. A helicopter carrying Rajasekhara Reddy went missing an hour after it took off from old Begumpet airport at 8.35 am, raising fears about his safety.
