ISI responds to Indian dossier, says Gilani

ISI has responded to the dossier on Mumbai attacks, Gilani said.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's ISI has responded to the dossier given by India on the Mumbai attacks, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani disclosed today as he dismissed reports of a rift with President Asif Ali Zardari over the sacking of NSA Mahmud Ali Durrani.

On a day when US Vice President-elect Joe Biden met Zardari to discuss the Indo-Pak tensions and the war on terror, Gilani said ISI has given its "feedback" to India on "some information" about the November 26 strikes in Mumbai.

India gave "some information" in a 52-page dossier to the CIA that was shared with Pakistan, Gilani said adding all further action will be taken according to Pakistani laws.

"Our ISI has given its feedback and shared information. That has been passed on to India," the Premier told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.

Gilani played down reports of his having a strained relationship with Zardari. The Prime Minister denied that Zardari was upset over his decision to sack Durrani for confirming that Mumbai terror accused Ajmal Amir Iman 'Kasab' is a Pakistani as it was taken in "national interest".
