Is this not policy paralysis, asks Congress after Deepak Parekh's remarks
The remarks followed an interview of the HDFC chairman in which had pitched for relaxing "administrative controls" to improve ease of doing business.

"Despite best decadal growth as legacy in 9 months Corporate Cheerleaders of govt are venting & blowing Is this not Policy Paralysis Mr PM?", party leader Manish Tewari said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
The BJP had consistently attacked the previous UPA government over alleged "policy paralysis".
Congress spokesman Sanjay Jha tweeted :"Well known business leader Deepak Parekh laments the underperforming Modi Sarkar at ground level. I hope that is not anti-national."

He has said that impatience has begun creeping in among businessmen as nothing has changed on ground in first nine months of the Narendra Modi government.
Parekh, who is known as a guiding voice of the Indian industry and has been on a number of key government panels on various policy and reform matters, further said that 'Make in India' can't succeed unless it is made easier for people to do business here and the decisions are fast-tracked.
