Is Headley’s brother a PRO in Pak PMO?

There are many indications to suggest the relation between David Coleman Headley and Danyal Gilani.

NEW DELHI: Is David Coleman Headley alias Daood Gilani the brother—some say stepbrother—of Danyal Gilani, who is the PRO in the office of Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani? There are many indications to suggest this might well be the case.\

A clue to that came from the report, based on information from FBI, in The New York Times. The paper said that Headley was born in Washington DC where his father Syed Salim Gilani was working for the Pakistan embassy. It described Gilani Sr as an avid musicologist and poet.

As it happens, the name of Danyal’s father too is Syed Salim Gilani. Gilani Sr was an official belonging to Pakistan’s equivalent of the Indian Information Service who rose to be the director general of Radio Pakistan. Reports in the Pakistani media after his death described him as a man who took great interest in music and poetry.
