IRS officer appointed OSD to Finance Minister

NEW DELHI: IRS officer Paras Mal Sankhla has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty ( OSD) to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

Sankhla, a 2008 batch officer of Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise), is now working as Deputy Commissioner in Ahmedabad.

Sankhla will continue to draw his pay and allowances from Central Excise, Ahmedabad zone where he is posted, an official order issued on Friday said.
