NEW DELHI: BCCI president N Srinivasan may be asked to leave if any evidence is found against his son-in-law and CSK CEO Gurunath Meiyappan in the IPL spot-fixing scandal, Times Now reported.

The Indian cricket board sources also added that game of cricket is more important than Srinivasan.

If proof against Gurunath emerges, Srinivasan will have to quit, said sources.

Meiyappan is under the Mumbai Police crime branch scanner for his proximity to Bollywood actor Vindu Dara Singh who was arrested for his alleged association with bookmakers.

Meiyappan was served summons on Thursday which asked him to present himself before the crime branch between 10 AM and 5 PM today.
