NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI) president N Srinivasan stated on Sunday in a press conference that the board has no control over the involvement of bookies in the game.

Jolted by the sensational IPL spot-fixing scandal, the BCCI's all-powerful working committee decided to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the fallout of the controversy and decide the future course of action against the three arrested cricketers.

With one controversy after another rocking the league since its inception in 2008, the working committee discussed at length, measures to restore the event's credibility.

Srinivasan stated that all players and agents will be accredited from now on and that each IPL team will have its own anti-corruption special unit (ACSU) officer.

The access to players would only be made through ACSU and security officials.

When asked bout a decision on the three arrested players, Srinivasan responded by saying that the BCCI has asked the Delhi Police commissioner to provide the complete information for them to complete domestic inquiry.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals management was also present in the emergency meeting and it was made evident that the management will file an FIR against the three arrested players for cheating the public.
