Former BCCI president Sharad Pawar on Wednesday expressed displeasure over the spot-fixing and betting scandal that has hit the Indian cricket.

NEW DELHI: NCP president and former BCCI president Sharad Pawar on Wednesday expressed displeasure over the spot-fixing and betting scandal that has hit the Indian cricket.

Pawar said he is deeply hurt and feels sad about the prevalent scenario and added that such situation would not have occurred, had he been the BCCI president.

He also held Srinivasan accountable for the whole spot-fixing controversy.

Pawar, however, didn't speak on the resignation Srinivasan as the BCCI chief.

Pawar, who earlier headed ICC, endorsed Shashank Manohar idea of getting the fixing and betting issue probed by home ministry.
