IPL spot fixing: NCP demands BCCI chief's resignation
"If Mr Srinivasan has any iota of morality and public accountability then he should immediately tender his resignation," D P Tripathi said.

"If Mr Srinivasan has any iota of morality and public accountability then he should immediately tender his resignation," NCP chief spokesman D P Tripathi told reporters here.
He said Srinivasan was under the shadow of doubt after his son-in-law was summoned for questioning in connection with the spot fixing issue.
"Therefore, I think, till the investigations are completed, Srinivasan should resign forthwith," he said.
Tripathi, a Rajya Sabha member, also demanded that the enact tough laws to deal with those involved in match fixing with provisions for a 10-year jail term for a guilty sportsperson and seizure of his assets.
"The player has made these assets and money through cricket and he has committed a fraud with the people who follow the game," he said.
