Mumbai Police has recovered business cards that show Meiyappan as the owner and team principal of the Chennai Super Kings.
According to TV reports, many visiting cards and identity cards were recovered during the raid at Meiyappan's Chennai home.
The day Meiyappan was arrested, his twitter handle which mentioned him as CSK's team principal had been changed to remove the key words showing his close links with team.
In fact, an India Cements press release was then circulated, which said Meiyappan was just an honorary member of CSK team management. Even Srinivasan had dismissed his ownership links with CSK calling him a mere "cricket enthusiast".
On Monday, Mumbai cops had conducted a search on a luxury yacht owned by Meiyappan.
A seven-member team reached Chennai Port in the forenoon and inspected the yacht docked at one of the quays near a signal station.
Sources said that the team checked registration documents of the yacht and is suspected to have inspected communication equipment and confiscated a few phones.
Meanwhile, Meiyappan's wife Rupa and his mother Lalitha left for Mumbai in a chartered flight from Madurai on Monday, three days after his arrest by the Mumbai Police.
