Invest India launches a global platform for ventilators, sanitisers, masks

New Delhi: India has launched a platform to match the demand and supply of crucial products including masks, sanitisers and ventilators, and help businesses and investors get real-time updates on the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Invest India Business Immunity Platform is ascertaining government’s needs for masks, sanitisers, ventilators and wipes, among other things and then matching them with companies who can produce them.

“We are flooded with queries and received around 107 queries in one day,” said Deepak Bagla, MD & CEO of Invest India.


The 172-member team managing the platform is talking to textile manufacturers to produce masks, and automobile and heavy engineering companies for ventilators. Bagla said the platform will also help firms look for existing capacities on a real time basis which can be used to manufacture.
