Intelligence Bureau warning: Movie on Indira Gandhi's assassins flagged
Release of a film on assassination of Indira can create tensions between Hindu & Sikh community, & states should be advised to take adequate steps to check any such occurrence.

ET has learnt that in a report submitted to Home Minister Rajnath Singh last week, the IB has said that a Punjabi movie, 'Kaum De Heere', is slated for release on August 22 after being cleared by the Censor Board with several cuts.
The movie focuses on the lives of the two assassins of Indira Gandhi who were also her personal bodyguards, Beant Singh and Satwant Singh. The IB is said to have warned that certain Hindu organizations have already started protesting over the contents of the movie which could lead to tensions.
The Home Ministry is planning to send advisories to Punjab, Haryana and Delhi governments asking them to take measures to ensure that there's no trouble upon the movie's release.
