Install BJP government in Uttar Pradesh: Amit Shah to Workers
Speaking to party workers on his maiden visit after his recent elevation as party chief, Shah said time has come for the party to reclaim the govt in UP.

“The Lok Sabha polls which the BJP swept in UP was the foundation, now forming the UP government is our aim,” Shah told party workers in the state capital on Tuesday.
He said he had seen the hard work of party cadres in the Lok Sabha polls and working with the same zeal they would help establish a BJP government with two-third majority in the state.
Shah said the ruling Samajwadi Party failed to sit up and take notice of what happened in the national elections and instead “unleashed its wrath on the people”. He said that Mulayam Singh Yadav and chief minister Akhilesh Yadav had time for Amar Singh, but not for meeting flood victims in the state.
He said that the last BJP government in UP led by Kalyan Singh was a model of good governance. “But since then there have been governments of either SP or BSP. Modi ji had given a slogan to get rid of the Congress in the Lok Sabha polls. The Congress has now been thrown out and its time for giving UP a BJP government,” Shah said.
