INLD will oust Congress from power in Haryana: Abhay Chautala

Criticising the Congress government in the state for "woeful" plight of farmers, INLD today said it will oust the party from power in the next assembly polls.

JHAJJAR: Criticising the Congress government in the state for "woeful" plight of farmers, INLD today said it will oust the party from power in the next assembly polls.

"The Bhupinder Hooda government has not taken any significant step for welfare of any section of society during its stint of eight years, which could prove its tall claim of making Haryana number 1 in terms of development," INLD MLA from Ellenabad, Abhay Singh Chautala said.

All poll promises made by the Congress in last assembly polls have turned out to be "hollow", he alleged while addressing a public meeting at Jahangirpur village here.

The party would have to pay the price for its "misdeeds" in the next polls, he claimed.

Chautala said if voted to power in the state, the INLD would get back farmers' land which was acquired by the Congress government at nominal prices in the name of creating Special Economic Zone.

"The Hooda government has worked for ruining the lives of poor farmers by acquiring their fertile lands at rates much lower than the market price. The Congress government is fully accountable for the woeful plight of farmers in the state, which has pushed them on the verge of destruction," he alleged.
